Fisher Keltath is known in the book as the author of the epic poem *Anomandaris*, a work whose presence outlasts the brief mentions of its creator. The text offers no account of his life or personal journey, leaving him defined by the poem and the trace his name has made in the wider world. He remains a literary presence rather than an active figure in the events of the story.
