Kellanved was the Emperor before the current order, remembered as the ruler whose elite Bridgeburners served him and whose secrets went with him to the grave. He sat upon the First Throne alongside Dancer, and his assassination preceded the emergence of House Shadow. His death also caused Toc the Elder’s disappearance, leaving consequences that outlasted his reign. Though his presence is never physically described here, the world around him remains shaped by his rule and absence.
