The Knight is presented as a figure on a card from the Deck of Dragons, a half-man, half-dragon image bearing a black sword and trailing smoky chains. He is identified as Anomander Rake, the Son of Darkness. Beyond these appearances and titles, the text provides no further account of the Knight as a separate character.

Description

The Knight is portrayed with a heavily muscled, naked upper body and jet-black skin, while his draconian lower half is armored in black scales that pale to grey at the belly. His face is blurred, denying the image any clear expression or identifying features. He raises a black two-handed sword entwined with smoky, ethereal chains, with a vague shape suspended in darkness above him. The whole figure has the stark, uncanny presence of an emblem rendered on a lacquered wooden card.
