Ardous is only glimpsed at the edge of a crowded social world, remembered as an awkward dancer rather than a commanding presence. The little known of him leaves more absence than portrait.

Ardous is identified as one of the Geffenry brothers and is recalled as having danced with Vin a couple of times at the previous ball, though he was not very good at it. Later, his corpse is left in the streets outside a skaa slum. The text provides no further account of his life or character.
Description
The text gives no physical description of Ardous: his height, build, skin tone, hair, eyes, face, and clothing are all unspecified. He is identified as male and as a Geffenry brother, but neither detail supplies a visual portrait. Any depiction should remain deliberately nonspecific.
