Dip remains just out of view, a name whose absence becomes noticeable when someone else is mistaken for him. The little the text offers invites curiosity without forming a clear picture.

Dip is one of two fellows expected in connection with a meeting involving VenDell and Wayne, but he is not physically present in the referenced scene. Wayne distinguishes a stout man from Dip, so that description does not establish Dip’s own appearance. No further personal history or arc is given.
Description
Dip is identified as male, but no reliable physical description is provided. Although a stout man appears in the scene, Wayne determines that this man is not Dip; Dip’s build, coloring, hair, eyes, face, clothing, and demeanor remain unspecified.
