Felt begins as a hawk-faced, mustachioed spy in the service of House Venture, quietly observing the intrigues of Luthadel. By the time of the siege, he has become a trusted scout for Elend Venture, feeding critical intelligence that helps the fledgling government survive Straff’s encirclement. In the final days of the world, the same man who once served Straff Venture stands among Elend’s officers, his defection symbolizing the collapse of old noble loyalties and the rise of a new order.

Description

Felt is a hawkish-looking man with a mustache and a keen, lithe presence. His face suggests alertness, though no details are given about his hair, eyes, complexion, age, or height. His clothing is not described beyond his association with House Venture’s world of spies. He carries himself with a watchful, guarded air. Felt is a short man with a compact, wiry build perfect for navigating tight spaces. A distinctive drooping mustache frames his mouth in a perpetual sag, while keen eyes peer from a face etched with lines of experience. He wears simple skaa clothing—roughspun trousers and a practical vest—that blends into the background. His presence is unassuming yet alert, always scanning without drawing attention. Every movement suggests quiet efficiency and unobtrusive watchfulness. Lean and wiry as an adult, his nondescript features include sharp, alert eyes and short practical hair designed for anonymity. Dressed in unassuming officer's garb with a blending cloak, subtle insignia marks his rank. He moves with a spy's cautious grace, presence watchful and elusive.
