Lady Hammondess emerges in the later volumes of the Mistborn saga as a poised, politically engaged senator whose public persona masks a hawkish temperament. First introduced in The Lost Metal, she attends high-level council sessions where she probes the destructive potential of newly developed weapons, revealing a willingness to advocate preemptive military action. Across the two appearances that span books 4 and 7, her composure remains intact even as she pushes for clarity on weapon ranges and urges decisive strikes, positioning her as a minor but consistent voice for aggressive policy within the Basin’s governing elite.
