Maraya is a senator in Elendel whose name surfaces in the political intrigue of The Lost Metal, where her unpredictable vote becomes a microcosm of the city’s fragile balance of power. Across the two mentions of her, she evolves from a faceless name in Waxillium Ladrian’s calculations to a symbol of the unseen forces that can sway the fate of nations. Though she never appears on the page, her potential allegiance underscores the theme that even the quietest voices matter when the stakes are the future of Scadrial.
