Noways Joe

Noways Joe has the impossible swagger of a gunslinger who seems to have learned every trick the world can offer—and several the world cannot. His reputation is stranger than any ordinary outlaw’s, making him feel less like a man glimpsed on a street and more like a tall tale with a loaded pistol.

Noways Joe is introduced as the pistol-master sidekick of Blatant Barm, renowned for the fantastical abilities to fly, become a dragon, and eat rocks. Allomancer Jak arranges for a snake bite to kill him, bringing his bizarre legend to a grotesque end. His brief appearance belongs to the exaggerated, sensational world of Jak’s adventures rather than the novel’s central action.
Description
The text identifies Noways Joe as a man and master of pistols but gives no reliable details about his ordinary appearance. His height, build, complexion, hair, eyes, face, and clothing are unspecified. His defining visual impression is therefore one of theatrical, fantastical menace, not a particular set of physical features.
