OreSeur

Supporting
First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 5

OreSeur is difficult to picture as a distinct individual: the body described is balding and nondescript, giving him an intentionally unremarkable presence. That plainness makes him feel enigmatic, as though the person beneath the visible form is being carefully withheld.

OreSeur begins as a faceless kandra operative in Kelsier’s elaborate schemes, shifting between borrowed identities to serve the rebellion’s cause. In the second book, he is revealed in his true form as a massive wolfhound, bound by contract to Vin and carrying the lingering weight of having consumed Kelsier’s bones. By the third volume, his story ends violently when his fellow kandra TenSoon kills him and steals his Blessing of Potency, marking the abrupt termination of his arc.

Description

OreSeur wears a balding, nondescript body, with no distinctive facial features, coloring, or build specified. The appearance is deliberately ordinary rather than memorable, and no particular clothing or accessories are described. His understated presence offers few visual clues to the kandra beneath the borrowed form. A balding, nondescript human male body, dressed in a servant's trousers and shirt. In chapter 1 it has several bleeding wounds and broken bones from coin impacts. Third Generation kandra
