Description

A misty figure roughly the shape of a man, humanoid in form with shifting, insubstantial outlines that suggest motion—kneeling, scratching, or waving arms. Its edges fade and evaporate into swirling mist, lacking solid features or color. The form hovers ethereally, semi-transparent against a backdrop of ash. It exudes an otherworldly, transient presence, constantly on the verge of dissolution. The text gives Preservation no definite body, face, age, or clothing. As a visual interpretation, the Shard might be rendered as a quiet, pale radiance—blue-white and crystalline, with a steady, sheltering quality rather than a sharply defined human shape.
