Rittle, a minor skaa soldier, appears as a guard companion kneeling to Kelsier's image and later as a witness to his survival legend. Bearing a silver spear pendant, he represents the rank-and-file skaa who bolster the army's morale. His brief roles underscore the growing faith in the rebellion's icons amid Luthadel's siege.
