There's something deeply wrong about the way his face sits where it shouldn't, a wrongness that lingers even when he takes human shape.

Tabaar emerges in the later Mistborn era as a Faceless Immortal whose identity is defined by a haunting, chimeric existence. First introduced in The Lost Metal, he appears as a merged face on an ornisaur’s head, later manifesting in human form to discuss ghostly realm access. In subsequent appearances, he fuses with KeSun into a featherless, winged bone-creature, transforming from a reluctant impostor into an eerie, unmistakable presence. Across these books, Tabaar evolves from a fragmented, experimental entity into a symbol of unsettling transformation and otherworldly partnership.
Description
A Faceless Immortal whose most striking feature is a face merged onto the left side of a creature's head where eyes would normally be. When in human form, he maintains an unsettling presence that defies normal expectations of appearance. In the form described initially, Tabaar is a Faceless Immortal carrying a giant backpack packed with aluminum bones; the text gives no further details of their human appearance. In the merged form with KeSun, Tabaar is part of a featherless ornisaur with long, thin bones and batlike wings. Tabaar's face appears on the creature's left side, an uncanny focal point against its skeletal silhouette.
