Tobal Copper first appears in The Lost Metal as a 53-year-old chemist employed by the Sentinel of Truth. Alarmed by evidence of the Set’s looming catastrophe, he quietly gathers ledgers and scraps, then turns to Maraga as a confidante to document the threat. Before he can fully expose the conspiracy, Set agents kill him, leaving behind only the unsettling legacy of a good man who tried to warn the world alone.
