Wilhelmette is a young constable inspired by Marasi, a small but telling sign of the example Marasi sets for others. The book gives no further account of her actions or personal history, leaving her as a fresh presence at the beginning of a possible career. Her significance lies in that spark of inspiration and the work she is just starting.
