Canton of Finance appears in Mistborn.

The Canton of Finance begins as a shadowy arm of the Steel Ministry in The Final Empire, quietly managing the Lord Ruler’s vast treasury and economic stranglehold over the Final Empire. Across the series it evolves from a faceless bureaucratic organ into a battleground for political intrigue, ultimately becoming a symbol of the collapsing old order as its vaults, ledgers, and influence are seized, repurposed, or destroyed during the cataclysmic transition to the New Empire.
