Fadrex City begins as a fortified stronghold and supply depot in the Western Dominance under the control of Lord Cett, serving as the base for his military ambitions. By the time of the apocalyptic events in The Hero of Ages, it transforms into a critical battleground where the remnants of humanity converge, its strategic importance magnified by the encroaching mists and the looming threat of Ruin. The city's evolution from a regional power center to a nexus of survival and conflict underscores its shifting role in the fate of the Final Empire's remnants.
