Keep Venture Courtyard begins as the grand, open-air heart of Luthadel’s most powerful noble house, a symbol of aristocratic privilege and military might. After the Collapse, the courtyard transforms into a contested battleground where the remnants of the old regime clash with the rising forces of the New Empire. Over the course of the series it shifts from a static emblem of dominance to a living chronicle of political upheaval, ultimately becoming a neutral ground where former enemies negotiate the future of the Basin.
