The Luthadel Garrison, the primary military force defending the capital of the Final Empire, undergoes a dramatic transformation from an imposing symbol of imperial might to a fractured remnant of the old regime. Initially serving as the elite guard that enforces the Lord Ruler's will, the garrison becomes a battleground during the skaa rebellion, with its soldiers caught between loyalty to a dying order and the chaos of revolution. Following the Catacendre, the garrison's remnants are absorbed into the new world's emerging military structures, marking the end of one era and the uncertain beginning of another.
