Urteau City Square begins as a simple civic plaza in the former capital of the Northern Dominance, but by the time of The Hero of Ages it has been transformed into a makeshift amphitheater where the city’s oppressed skaa gather nightly to hear Spook’s speeches. The square’s stage, once reserved for noble proclamations, now hosts the first public calls for rebellion against the Citizen’s regime, marking the site as the symbolic heart of Urteau’s uprising. As the city’s ash-choked streets empty and its canals run dry, the square becomes the stage on which the last embers of resistance are fanned into open revolt.
