Purified Dor Jars first appear in The Lost Metal as three identical, unkeyed vessels of concentrated Investiture, radiating an intense white light brighter than electric bulbs. These jars serve as portable, high-density energy sources that can be tapped by any Allomancer or Feruchemist regardless of their native metallic arts. Their introduction marks a significant technological leap in the use of raw Investiture, bridging the gap between Selish magic systems and Scadrian metallic arts.
