The Flower Drawing first appears in The Hero of Ages as a fragile relic of the pre-Catacendre world, its faded ink depicting an exotic green plant that no longer exists in the ash-choked landscape. Across the series, it evolves from a mere curiosity into a poignant symbol of the world that was lost when Rashek remade Scadrial, representing both the beauty of the past and the irreversible changes wrought by the Lord Ruler's Ascension. In its final significance, the drawing serves as tangible evidence of the environmental devastation caused by the Deepness and the Lord Ruler's subsequent alterations to the planet's ecology.
