Inquisitor Spikes begin as the signature hemalurgic implants that transform Steel Inquisitors into terrifying, near-immortal enforcers of the Lord Ruler’s will. Across the series, their significance expands from mere instruments of control into the very architecture of Ruin’s escape plan, culminating in their role as both the source of Inquisitorial power and the mechanism by which that power is ultimately undone.
