The Trellium Earring emerges as a pivotal artifact in the Mistborn series, first appearing in The Lost Metal as a mysterious metallic object tied to the enigmatic god Trell. Its significance grows as it becomes a conduit for Trell's influence, allowing the deity to exert control over individuals and manipulate events from the shadows. Throughout the narrative, the earring evolves from a seemingly innocuous piece of jewelry to a symbol of divine conflict, representing the clash between Trell's ambitions and the established order of the Cosmere. Its presence raises questions about the nature of divine power and the potential for gods to influence the mortal realm through physical objects.
