The Liber monstrorum is a living, sentient grimoire that first appears in Antykwariat Pod Salamandrą as a mysterious, blank-paged tome hidden among the shelves of the Salamander Antiquarian Bookshop. Across the series, it evolves from a passive repository of forgotten lore into an active participant in the magical conflicts of Mons Viridis, gradually revealing its own will and agenda. Its pages fill with shifting illustrations and text that respond to the reader’s thoughts, and it becomes both a guide and a potential threat to the protagonists.
