The Giant Hangar emerges in System Collapse as a haunting relic of the Pre-CR era, its skeletal landing platforms and scattered salvage evoking a once-bustling hub now swallowed by dust and silence. This vast, abandoned structure becomes a critical waypoint for the Preservation survey team, its emergency-lit tunnel entrance offering both refuge and a gateway to deeper secrets. Across the series, the hangar transforms from mere backdrop into a symbol of lost infrastructure and the precarious foothold humanity maintains on hostile worlds.
