The Lower Corridors first appear in System Collapse as a utilitarian Pre-CR network beneath the surface of a contested planet. Their lighter walls and dark floors, illuminated only by battery lights, mark them as an older, undecorated infrastructure that contrasts with the more advanced facilities above. Throughout the series, these corridors evolve from a simple transit route into a strategic subterranean layer that becomes critical during planetary conflicts and rescue operations.
