The Safehouse Building first appears in Platform Decay as a tall circular structure that functions as a covert refuge for Murderbot and its allies. Its open multi-level lobby and criss-crossing walkways create both tactical vantage points and hidden alcoves, allowing the inhabitants to monitor threats while remaining concealed. Over the course of the series the building evolves from a hastily commandeered hideout into a semi-permanent operations hub whose mixed-use design—offices, storage, and temporary housing—facilitates ongoing intelligence gathering and strategic planning.
