Brigadier Ryze looks like a ghost of battles past, his white hair and eye patch only emphasizing the hard-won scars that map his weathered face. When he speaks, his voice carries the weight of too many lost comrades, making even fellow officers pause with respect for the veteran before them.

Brigadier Ryze began as a veteran officer standing with Tamas's inner circle, his white eye patch and scarred face marking him as a survivor of countless campaigns. He served loyally at first, ordering artillery and participating in parleys, before his role shifted to antagonist in the conflict's later stages. Ultimately he was burned and killed by Privileged sorcery while protecting Tamas, ending his long service in fire.
Description
Brigadier Ryze is an older man with hair as white as his uniform and a heavily weathered, battle-scarred face with visible scars on both hands and face. One eye is covered by a white linen patch or sash concealing an old wound. He typically wears a white military uniform with gold sash, though sometimes appears in a brown-and-green patched cloak over scarlet hunt colors, and carries himself with the grizzled authority of a veteran.
