Jekel

Minor
First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 39

There is something profoundly wrong about the way Jekel's wrinkled face settles into a smile. His Privileged gloves seem almost too heavy for his aged hands. When he looks at you, you feel as though you've already been weighed, measured, and found wanting.

Jekel first presented himself as the youthful monk Del, only to dramatically shed that disguise and reveal the wrinkled face of an elderly Privileged sorcerer. His true nature emerged during a confrontation that ended with him being thrown from a balcony, a fittingly theatrical end for one who lived behind false faces. Throughout his brief but memorable appearance, he embodied the corruption and deception inherent in the old magical order.

Description

An older man with a heavily wrinkled face that speaks of decades of arcane practice. His eyes hold a calculating intelligence beneath drooping lids. He wears the distinctive Privileged gloves that mark his sorcerous rank. Though his build appears somewhat frail with age, his presence commands attention and unease in equal measure.
