Howling Wendigo

Also known as Wendigo tavern

building
frontier alpine tavern

Large, ancient wooden tavern built into the rugged mountain environment of Shouldercrown Fortress. The roof shows clear signs of past collapse on one half, repaired haphazardly with mismatched timbers and planks. Exterior weathered by harsh alpine conditions. Interior features rough-hewn wooden beams, long communal tables, a bar, and a large hearth. Constant low whine of wind through the eaves creates an eerie auditory backdrop. Dimly lit by lanterns and firelight, filled with the smell of smoke, spilled beer, and unwashed mountain men.
