Bethalia is a terrifyingly capable old Pink who serves as general to the Telemanus household’s army of servants, driving them through their work with uncompromising discipline. When Lyria encounters her, Bethalia’s authority is still sharp, though it is tempered by a watchful, knowing manner. She adjusts Lyria’s collar and navigates the household’s powerful stewards with the practiced confidence of someone who understands how influence works.
