Sophocles, Kavax au Raa’s red-furred fox, first appears in Iron Gold as a living emblem of House Raa’s fierce loyalty and unyielding spirit. Paralyzed by anacene-17 during an ambush, the fox refuses to die and rejoins the fray, proving that even a pet can embody the same defiance that drives the au Raa clan. Across the series, Sophocles evolves from a mere companion into a symbol of resilience, his survival mirroring the broader struggle of the Raa family to endure amid shifting alliances and brutal warfare.

His muscular frame ripples under the fur as he growls low or pounces with surprising agility, comfortable curling on a massive lap yet ready to snarl at intruders or chase birds with gleeful snarls.
