Marcel appears briefly as an old Gray caught in a tense encounter with Darrow. He backs away, raises a gun, and his eyes fill with tears before a sergeant shoots him. His small, abrupt part leaves an image of fear and violence rather than a life fully known.
Description
Marcel is an old, stocky Gray, broad and compact in build. His age shows in the weathering of his face, though no further details of his features are given. He wears the practical clothing of a Gray, and his posture has a guarded stiffness that makes him seem braced against whatever may come.
