Screwface begins as an anonymous lowColor hanger-on in Darrow’s ragged Phobos Tower crew, little more than a wolf-cloaked silhouette who shoulders weapons and watches the edges of the Institute’s chaos. By Morning Star he has been elevated to the elite Howler ranks, his loyalty and counter-espionage talents now indispensable to Darrow’s war against the Society. In Dark Age he re-emerges as a strikingly handsome, mid-thirties operative whose aristocratic features and Heliopolitan scarf mask a calculating double-agent whose deceptions serve the Rising even as they endanger his own life.

Description

Screwface is a lean, wiry 16-year-old boy of about 5'6", his pale lowColor skin etched with faint scars from a hardscrabble life in the mines. His short, unevenly cropped dark brown hair frames a sharp, angular face dominated by hazel eyes that gleam with cunning, and a perpetual twisted smirk that earns him his name. He dresses in ragged gray lowColor garb, patched and practical, with belts slung low heavy with slings, knives, and pouches. His posture is tense and feral, coiled like a spring, exuding the jittery readiness of a street survivor. Screwface’s passive face stares out from the open, fanged maw of a black wolfcloak, which gives him a stark, predatory outline.
