The Jackal of Mars emerges in Iron Gold as a commanding human figure whose understated authority belies his pivotal role in the post-conquest power structure of Mars. Across the Red Rising Saga, he transitions from a shadowy political operative to a central architect of Martian governance, his influence expanding as the series explores the fragile peace following the Rising. His evolution reflects the broader tensions between old hierarchies and new revolutionary orders, positioning him as both a stabilizing force and a potential catalyst for renewed conflict.
