Demeter’s Garter is a storied orbital garden-station that begins as a symbol of Gold decadence and ends as a strategic battleground in the war for the Solar Republic. In Light Bringer it is first introduced as a lush, self-contained agri-habitat orbiting Mars, its verdant terraces and hydroponic terraces feeding the planet below. Its capture by the Rising becomes a turning point, transforming the station from a mere food source into a forward-operating base for Darrow’s forces.
