Hangar 17B begins as a derelict storage bay on the massive warship Lightbringer, its shattered ripWings and war titans serving as silent witnesses to the Republic’s defeat. Over the course of the final volume, the hangar transforms from a graveyard of broken machines into a clandestine staging ground where Darrow’s scattered allies regroup and launch a desperate counter-offensive. Its evolution mirrors the saga’s shift from despair to renewed rebellion, culminating in the hangar’s repurposing as both armory and launch point for the climactic assault on the Core.
