The Hippodrome of Heliopolis emerges in Dark Age as a colossal, blood-soaked arena on Mercury where the fate of the Republic’s legions is decided. Originally a symbol of Gold decadence, it is repurposed by the Rising into a desperate last stand, then becomes the crucible in which Darrow’s forces are nearly annihilated by the combined might of Atalantia and the Ash Lord’s heirs.
