The Lost City emerges in Golden Son as Luna's sprawling undercity—a neon-lit warren of tenements, gang turf, and Eo murals that serves as the first true glimpse of the Republic's future. Across the series it evolves from a mere backdrop of poverty and rebellion into a strategic battleground and eventual symbol of Red Rising's hard-won freedom. Its graffiti-scarred alleys and towering slums become the proving ground where Darrow's revolution moves from covert sabotage to open war, and later the heart of the new order's reconstruction.
