The New Forum emerges in Iron Gold as the gleaming domed Senate house of the Republic, a symbol of democratic renewal built atop the ruins of the old order. By Dark Age it has become a vast, echoing hall of political warfare, where the Republic’s ideals are tested by war, betrayal, and the return of authoritarian ambition. Across these books, the Forum transforms from a ceremonial seat of power into a crucible of ideological conflict, reflecting the Republic’s struggle to survive its own contradictions.
