The Old Industrial Sector first emerges in Golden Son as a forgotten, rust-choked factory complex buried beneath newer layers of industry on Luna. Its grime, carnivorous moss, and stagnant pools create a claustrophobic underworld where Darrow’s rebellion must hide and regroup. Across the series, this subterranean relic evolves from a mere hiding place into a strategic nerve center, its decaying infrastructure repurposed for covert operations and later serving as a grim reminder of the Society’s industrial past.
