The Sons of Ares Base begins as a claustrophobic, rust-streaked warren hidden beneath the Martian surface in Red Rising, serving as the fledgling resistance’s first foothold against the Society. By Light Bringer, the same organization’s lunar redoubt has evolved into a spartan moon-rock bunker whose dim chemical lamps and stripped-down corridors reflect both the rebellion’s hard-won longevity and the austerity forced by years of interstellar war.
