The Institute
The Institute appears in Red Rising Saga.
The Institute begins as an unseen crucible of Gold supremacy in Red Rising, where Darrow infiltrates its deadly trials to dismantle the Society from within. By Golden Son it emerges as a towering, snow-capped fortress on a levitating Martian mountain, its white battlements and glass spires still smoldering from the brutal conquests that crowned new student Primuses. In Morning Star the academy is invoked less as a physical place than as the psychological forge that shaped Darrow and his allies, its legacy of cruelty now fueling the rising rebellion rather than upholding the old order.
