Crow Masks
itemFeatureless skull-like masks worn by black-uniformed Crows, creating an expressionless and intimidating appearance. Paired with gold wrist bracelets. Used by these giant Institute enforcers and executioners to conceal identity.
In the Red Rising Saga, Crow Masks debut in Red Rising as the chilling, featureless skull-like visors of the black-uniformed Crows, the towering Institute enforcers who serve as anonymous executioners and order-keepers. Paired with gold wrist bracelets, these masks strip away individuality to project an expressionless menace, allowing the Crows to intervene in house conflicts and carry out punishments without revealing their identities. Though their role is largely confined to the Institute's deadly trials, the masks come to embody the Society's faceless tyranny, their intimidating presence lingering as a symbol even as Darrow's uprising dismantles the old order in later volumes.
