Crow Masks
itemFeatureless skull-like masks worn by black-uniformed Crows, creating an expressionless and intimidating appearance. Paired with gold wrist bracelets. Used by these giant Institute enforcers and executioners to conceal identity.
Crow Masks begin as the anonymous, skull-like faceplates of the Institute’s black-uniformed Crows—hulking enforcers who execute students and conceal their identities behind expressionless gold-braced visages. Across the saga they evolve from mere tools of intimidation into potent symbols of institutional terror and, later, of rebellion: their stark design is co-opted by Sons of Ares operatives, then reappears in modified form among the Rising’s shock troops, turning the visage of suppression into a rallying icon of resistance.
