Curule Scepter

The Curule Scepter first appears in Morning Star as the twisted-gold emblem of high-ranking military authority, its screaming-banshee head and crimson splash marking the bearer as a peer of the Society’s warlords. Across the later volumes it evolves from a static symbol of Gold supremacy into a contested trophy whose possession signals shifting allegiances and the fracturing of the old hierarchy. By the end of the saga the scepter’s engraved deeds have been overwritten by new, blood-soaked chapters, transforming it into an ironic relic of a dying order.
