HoloCan

HoloCan begins as a simple, centrally-mounted propaganda device in Red Rising, its flickering, multi-sided displays broadcasting Society-approved narratives to the mining townships. Across the saga, the device evolves from a passive instrument of control into a contested medium of rebellion, its technology repurposed by both the Sons of Ares and the rising Republic to disseminate truth, propaganda, and coded messages. By later volumes, HoloCans become ubiquitous in war zones and political arenas, their once-unquestioned authority now challenged by the very people they once subdued.
