Howler Black Armor first appears in Golden Son as the signature battle dress of Darrow's elite strike force, the Howlers. Across the Red Rising Saga, the armor evolves from a simple black tactical suit into a symbol of rebellion and elite status, worn by the most trusted warriors in the war against the Society. Its presence marks the transformation of Darrow's personal guard into a legendary unit whose reputation alone can turn the tide of battles.
