Pax au Telemanus, known as Pax Destroyer, first appears in Golden Son as a towering, loyal Obsidian warrior who becomes one of Darrow’s most trusted lieutenants. Over the course of the series, Pax evolves from a seemingly simple brute into a strategic leader and moral anchor, his loyalty tested by the brutal realities of war and the shifting alliances of the Rising. His journey from personal bodyguard to political figurehead mirrors the broader transformation of the Obsidians from oppressed underclass to revolutionary force.
