The Society fleet necklace first appears in Iron Gold as a formidable orbital ring of Mercurian steel warships encircling Luna, their dark hulls emblazoned with the Ash Lord’s crowned skull pyramid. This defensive formation represents the last vestiges of Gold naval supremacy, serving both as a staging ground for military operations and a symbol of the Society’s enduring might. As the Rising’s forces advance, the necklace becomes a critical battleground where the balance of power in the solar system is contested, its eventual disruption marking a turning point in the war.
